PROJECT PROFILE
Imperial Oil Limited retained KBL for dredging and centrifuge dewatering of all the on-site ponds at the IOL Strathcona Refinery. The seven-year contract started in 2021 and scope execution happens annually. The number of ponds varies each year depending on the needs from the refinery.
SCOPE OF WORK
The project involves the dredging and centrifuging of the pond sediment. Hauling and disposal of the dewatered and processed sediment sludge to an approved landfill facility. Performed the inspection of the synthetic liner of the pond as well as any necessary liner repair work.
