KBL Environmental is proud to expand its northern infrastructure network with the addition of our Metals Recovery Facility in Enterprise, Northwest Territories. Strategically located to support mining, industrial, municipal, and commercial sectors across the North, the facility provides responsible recovery, handling, processing, and recycling solutions for ferrous and non-ferrous metals generated from industrial operations, demolition projects, mine closures, remediation programs, and waste management activities.
Built on KBL’s experience operating in remote and challenging environments, the Enterprise facility supports circular economy initiatives by diverting recoverable metals from disposal streams and returning valuable materials back into the supply chain. The facility enhances regional access to environmentally responsible recycling infrastructure while reducing transportation challenges and environmental liabilities for clients operating throughout the Northwest Territories and Western Canada.
KBL’s Metals Recovery Facility aligns with our commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles by maximizing resource recovery and minimizing waste. Through advanced sorting, segregation, and logistics capabilities, the facility helps clients reduce landfill dependency, lower environmental impacts, and improve sustainability performance.
Our team works closely with industrial operators, mine sites, municipalities, Indigenous organizations, and contractors to develop customized recycling and waste diversion programs that support operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
The Enterprise facility is equipped to manage a wide range of metal materials, including:
The Metals Recovery Facility complements KBL’s existing northern environmental infrastructure and service offerings, including hazardous waste transfer facilities, soil treatment facilities, remediation services, waste management, demolition, water treatment, and environmental monitoring.
By integrating logistics, environmental management, and recycling services under one organization, KBL provides clients with streamlined project execution, reduced mobilization costs, and improved waste diversion outcomes.

From winter road transportation and remote mobilizations to mine site waste management and environmental remediation, KBL has built a reputation for safely executing projects while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Safety and environmental stewardship remain at the core of every KBL operation. The Enterprise Metals Recovery Facility operates under strict environmental and operational controls designed to support responsible material handling, worker safety, and regulatory compliance.
