SCOPE OF WORK
Site services at Gerdau’s steel mill in Selkirk, Manitoba includes the following tasks:
- Melt Shop Services: slag pit digging, processing and loading slag, refractory brick loading, tundish transport and dump, and ladle transport
- Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) processing services
- Ladle brick and municipal solid waste disposal
- Rolling Mill Services: revert hauling and loading
- Metal recovery services
- Mill scale recovery services
- Furnace and tundish tear outs
- Cleaning of inside and outsite rail tracks
- Plug and nozzle push on ladles
- Dust mitigation services
- Management of Automotive Shredder Residue (ASR) generated from site
- Leachate management
